I love my wife! She is all that and a bag of chips!

For 19 years I would snydly reply to her prompt for, "What would you like for dinner?" with the requisite, " I don't know, how about a standing rib roast!"

So this year's Christmas dinner is a beautiful standing rib roast with all the trimmings! Yorkshire pudding, too! Did I mention that I love my wife? So I oppened a bottle of Coppola Cabernet and for a hint of style Nat King Cole is spinning on the turntable.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Nice story, Merry Christmas to you and your wife. Did you get a picture of the roast?

Yes! I did get a picture, but I can't figure out how to post them here. I took a photo of the flaming Christmas plumb pudding, too.It looks like it is glowing with a blue halo because I didn't use a flash and the shutter was open for a few seconds. Mmmm......hard sauce!

Standing rib roast here as well for Christmas dinner - probably the most popular dish for Christmas dinner.

Mine turned out delectable! Perfectly medium rare (thanks to a digital thermometer).

Now we have lots of left overs - made soup from the bones and we have a chunk-o-meat for repeat dinner tonight and some sandwiches!

    Happy Holidays!

Get a free photobucket account. Upload the photos to it. Then copy and past the IMG tag. It should look like this. URL of the photo.
